Here are some terrific reading resources to use to support the fourth grade curriculum.
This is a wonderful website where the students can practice reading both fiction and nonfiction passages and answering multiple choice questions. It is also differentiated to fit the individualized needs to each student. We will be taking a pretest for this program at the beginning of the year and the students will have their user name and password written down in their LIGHTHOUSE binder.

This site is great for searching for books based on a reading level, genre, subject or grade level. In addition, you can also find books based on the title, author, or keyword.
NEWSELA has many great online nonfiction articles. Use the Class Code: 4PZKAF. You will need to create a user name and password, if it is your first time. On this site you can search for articles based on the topic, grade level or reading skill.
